Role: CFO/Head of Finance

The candidate will be responsible for developing the overall business strategy with the founders, including financial planning. The candidate will also be overlooking the finance operations of the company, maintenance of a comprehensive set of controls and budgets designed to mitigate risk, enhance the accuracy of the company’s reported financial results, and ensure that reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles.

This is a full time role based out of Mumbai working directly with the founders as part of the leadership team.

Responsibilities:

• Drive thought leadership and value creation to build world-class financial control function and processes to ensure full financial compliance
• Stakeholder management – effective internal and external stakeholder management to drive complete visibility over finance
• Working closely with management or executive teams to share P/L and cash flow reports findings
• Create overall business plans, budgets & provide strategic advice to the founders
• Define, Implement and help improve relevant financial KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) for the business
• Preparation of Financial statements & overseeing internal bookkeeping and accounts
• Design and implement overall accounting controls
• Cash flow management & capital budgeting
• Managing all payments & banking relationships
• Maintain and enforce a documented system of accounting policies and procedures
• Manage the generation of the annual budget and forecasts
• Coordinate the provision of information to external auditors for the annual audit
• Monitor debt levels and compliance with debt covenants
• Comply with local, state, and government reporting requirements and tax filings
