Chief of Staff

Role & Responsibilities

1. Efficiently allocate the Managing Partner’s time among important activities, including:

  • Firm-level strategic initiatives
  • Internal and external stakeholder meetings and communications
  • Guild ecosystem engagement

2.Provide leverage to the Managing Partner by:

  • Proactively managing and communicating agendas for meetings with external stakeholders
  • Tracking and driving closure of action items from various discussions
  • Managing projects internally and within Guild’s investment portfolio

3.Provide a strategic communication layer between the Managing Partner and external stakeholders, including investors and company management teams, by:

  • Communicating on his behalf with portfolio company leadership and external stakeholders by telephone and email
  • Assessing inquiries directed to the Managing Partner
  • Directing inquiries to the appropriate Guild resource

4.Support strategic decision making by collecting information, analyzing data, and communicating recommendations to Guild’s leadership team

5.Managing the Chairman’s Office team (currently 3 members) to drive process improvements and strategic initiatives identified by the Managing Partner
