The company is looking for an independent and results-oriented CFO/Head of Finance. The candidate will ensure that the Finance function is structured and disciplined such that it allows the company to continue to grow fast with a sharp focus on financial health. The candidate will also be a strategic advisor to the leadership team and board members across all financial aspects of the company. As part of the leadership team, the candidate should provide vision and ideas for business growth, and be willing to tackle any problem that may arise in the growth journey.

Responsibilities

• Build world-class financial control function and processes to ensure full financial compliance
• Ensure accurate reporting of consolidated monthly management accounts within strict timelines
• Provide the leadership team with financial and business/strategic planning support – deep insights regarding revenue, cost efficiency & profitability
• Drive the financial planning of the company and retain constant awareness of the company’s financial position
• Management accounting, financial reporting and providing commercial and operational management information to support rapid global expansion
• Develop the corporate fundraising strategy and manage relationships with partners/investors
• Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of the monthly, quarterly and annual reporting process
• Assisting in tax and regulatory reporting requirements of Global and India entities
• Monitor/develop action plans to proactively manage capital requirements/cash burn
• Meet local and regulatory reporting requirements, including engagement with the local audit team and relevant regulators, as required
• Manage and supervise all accounting and finance personnel (management accountants, internal auditors etc.)
